When the city of Alpharetta envisioned the redevelopment of 25-acres of property in the heart of downtown, the design included a new public library, a 5-acre park, town square and parking garage. The centerpiece of the project was the construction of the new Alpharetta City Hall. Bibler Masonry Contractors, Inc. was selected as the masonry contractor for this iconic project.
As part of the master plan for the Alpharetta City Center, the public benefited from the expansion and development of the new 25,000 square foot Alpharetta Public Library. Once again, our firm was selected for our quality and professionalism after the success of the City Center project.
The city developers and general contractor relied on our expertise to manage the logistical challenges of constructing the library in such close proximity to the completed City Center.
This project utilized lightweight cast stone giving the appearance of regular cast stone while at a fraction of the weight resulting in a need for less structural support and thereby decreasing cost.
